If you are having the Surgical Abortion be well prepared by doing the following:

• Cell phones are not permitted in the clinic. Please leave yours in the car.
• We ask that you bring a bathrobe as a cover up, an extra pair of socks, sanitary napkin (pad), a bag to carry your things in and a picture ID (drivers license, ID card).
• Minors Under 18 Years Old: Due to the State of Georgia Parental Notification law, at least one of your parents or legal guardian (with proper court documents) must come with you and bring a picture ID. The patient must bring a picture ID and birth certificate.
• Make sure you have nothing to eat after midnight the night before the procedure; this also means no candy, gum, breath mints, etc. You can have clear liquids up to one hour before your appointment.
• Arrange to have a ride home after the procedure. Your ride must come inside and check in at the front desk when you arrive for your appointment. No children are allowed on the premises.
• Plan to be at our office for a minimum of 3-4 hours. We ask that you and your ride are patient.
• You will have some lab work done. If you have a negative blood type there will be an additional charge for the Rhogam injection.
• Payment should be made either in cash or credit card, as we do not accept personal checks.

If you are having the Medical Abortion by Pill (RU486) be well prepared by doing the following:

• You may drive yourself. No children are allowed in the premises.
