Abortion Services
We offer:
- Abortions up to 12 weeks with or without sedation
- Abortions up to 17 weeks with sedation
- Abortions by Pill (non-surgical option) to 7 weeks
Abortions can be scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Due to State of Georgia legislation, there is a 24-hour waiting period for an abortion. You may schedule your appointment by phone or in person. All fees include take home medications, blood typing, ultrasound, a starter pack of birth control pills and follow-up exam.
Counseling
An understanding professional patient educator will speak with you in a private session. She will review the procedure and aftercare instructions and answer your questions. She will make sure you understand the informed consent notification that you will be signing. You can talk to her about any special issues or concerns you may have. She is here to serve you. She can also discuss birth control options with you.
Family Planning and Contraception
We provide all the latest methods of contraception including the Pill, the Patch, the NuvaRing,® and the Depo-Provera® injection. Our patient educator will patiently take time to explain the family planning choices available to you.
Pregnancy Testing
We can test for pregnancy when your menstrual cycle is 15 days late
or 10 days after conception. Urine testing is available on a walk-in basis,
