First & Second Trimester Abortion Options
- First trimester abortion up to 12 weeks with or without IV sedation
- Second trimester abortions up to 17 weeks with IV sedation
- Medical abortions by Pill (non-surgical option) through 8 weeks
Our fees for any of these abortion options include IV sedation, lab work including blood typing, ultrasound, Take home medication prescriptions, a birth control prescription (if you qualify), and follow-up exam. Abortions can be scheduled for Thursdays or Fridays. Due to State of Georgia legislation, there is a 24-hour waiting period for both a first and second trimester abortion. An understanding professional patient educator will speak with you in a private session. She will review the procedure for all abortion methods and aftercare instructions and answer your questions. She will make sure you understand the informed consent notification that you will be signing. You can talk to her about any special issues or concerns you may have about abortion options. She is here to serve you. She can also discuss birth control options with you.
Family Planning and Contraception
We provide all the latest methods of contraception including the Pill, the Patch, the NuvaRing,® and the Depo-Provera® injection. Our patient educator will patiently take time to explain the family planning choices available to you.
We can test for pregnancy when your menstrual cycle is late or 10 days after conception. We offer both urine and blood pregnancy tests. Pregnancy testing is available on a walk-in basis, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:30 am–4:30 pm.
